Anna Hurshkainen from ITMO team has just successfully defended her PhD thesis in engineering entitled “Resonators based on periodic thin-wire structures for transceiving ultrahigh-field MRI devices”.
This work covered the research areas of decoupling in dipole arrays for body imaging at 7 T as well as metasurface-based coils with controllable penetration depths for 4.7 and 7 T and performed in collaboration with AMU, UMC and AALTO.
