Ethics

The objective is to ensure compliance with the ‘ethics requirements’ all along the duration of the project. All research activities related to M-Cube will respect fundamental ethics principles, including those reflected in the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. These principles include the need to ensure the freedom of research and the need to protect the physical and moral integrity of individuals and the welfare of animals. All M-Cube beneficiaries and partners performing MRI exploration of Humans and Animals are in accordance with the national legal and ethical requirements of the country.
The overall goal of M-Cube project is to radically redesign RF coil for ultra-high magnetic field resonance imaging, making them more efficient and more homogeneous in transmission and more sensitive in reception.
To achieve this goal, we are planning to run experiments in the purpose of integrating data originating both from human and animal origins. It thus implies to ensure that all experiments are complying with the National and European applying rules.
We confirm that the issues of research on human embryos, human embryonic stem cells, dual use, privacy and involvement of third countries are not applicable to this project.
We confirm that we will follow all relevant International and EU legislations as well as comply with the related-European guidelines
