Sub-Wavelength Resonators

Objectives: The aim of this WP is to develop a metamaterial solution based on principles of hybridization modes and near zero refractive index to control the electromagnetic field to extend as much as possible the effective imaging area with the purpose to achieve WB requirements. The antenna can be externally tuned to (1) make magnetic field uniformly distributed inside the volume of interest, (2) increasing the signal to noise ratio, (3) manage the SAR, (4) increasing the penetration depth.
